Hi,
April is one of the quietest months for us and
this year wasn't much different, way too many school and
public holidays which means very little corporate travel. We're looking
forward to the much busier months of June, July and August. The
timing isn't too bad tho as we've just brought on our new team member ...
more details about her below.

CBD
travel warnings -
April was very quiet around the country (other
than the first week or two in Perth) and May isn't looking too busy yet
either. Brisbane is yet to really pick up but Darwin is coming in to silly
season and will be packed for the next 4 or 5 months. Almost every week the
hotels will be full midweek with The Ghan.
Here are some of the
major dates to look out for over the next month or so:
Canberra:
May
13
Federal Budget (We can still organise rooms at
decent rates)
Darwin:
May 15, 16 Lions Club
International Convention May 22, 23
Sydney:
May 20 - 22 CEBIT
Australia (IT conference)

New team member
-
Earlier this week we welcomed aboard our newest team
member, Lisa Sorgini. We had a number of strong candidates in the
interview process but Lisa's professionalism shone through. Like
Susan before her, she didn't have any actual travel industry
experience other than doing a travel course but has management and
customer service skills. Her training is coming along well so if you are
speaking to her in the next week or two please be gentle.
Blog update -
A few days down in Sydney, the face of our new
team member and a Brisbane's hotel gets named as one of the best in the
